Vin Number Information
I have been searching on the site and found a topic and member has the ability to research a VIN number. I am looking to purchase a 1994 968 and would like to verify the option equipment list as much as possible.
The VIN is WP0AA2965RS820290. I think the member who has this info is 968 Turbo S? Thank you for your help.

The car is a 1994 968 coupe
It is #1487 of the 2234 NA 968 coupes produced for 92-95
It is 1 of 594 black coupes (the most popular color on a coupe)
1 of 188 black coupes paired with a cashmere/black interior
Factory options include:
030 sport suspension option (includes 398 17" cup2 wheels), 1 of 99 M030 coupes, 1 of 24 M030 coupes in black
LC partial leather in cashmere
XD4 painted crest center caps
220 limited slip diff
490 hi-fi sound with amps
This 968 is a late 94 so it has the 993 style comfort seats and does not have the engine compartment trim.

Jeff968 thank you for the info. this is a great help. I'm hoping to purchase the car time will tell. I'm planning on doing a PPI in addition to the information I have received so far. I'll be glad to be a member of the 968 group once I have the car. Everyone so far has been great. Thank you.

It took me 15 years to collect and assemble the North American 968 database. Everyone has their area of the 968 that they are in to. For me, it was production data.
