Default The Long Awaited Odurandurina's 968 LS7 Dyno"

MORE THAN TWICE THE DISPLACEMENT, TWICE THE CYLINDER, TWICE THE EGO, Amazing results 390hp and the redline is 4000 rpm, what a beast my sons 2004 Cobra can do that. best of all it was tuned by Amber lamps so now you know where to get your LS tuned, lol. This feels better than the acquittal. lol

woops, it appears Doug's already panhandling on the ot forum for ideas.

ahhhhh ummm yeahhh well ummm

yes the line went straight up and then the

engine went lean after 3800~4000 rpm.... then very lean.

so rather than hurt the motor, I assume Chris pulled back on the throttle....

but it's pretty much just needing a Bosch 0-580-254-044 or similar.

but don't worry, it gets better......

more pressing issue, is the need for an alighnment.

the car still has tons of power for spirited/insane driving.

Ya know what's really funny?......is Allen telling me "No, I don't think so." when I asked him if I could drive it now. He knows full well what I'll do with it. Time to go back in and check the torque specs.

it was 96 freaking degrees and tons of traffic when I left Rancho Cucamonga.

it was too hot to eff around with the car.

once on the 210, she ran on the very warm end of the scale....

by the time I got to Anaheim, the air was about 90, and the car was running cooler.

by the time I got to the 55, she was running in the middle of the normal range w/ 85F air coming into the radiator.

raced a white 993 cab a little on the south end of the 55.

in Newport. now.

car is just so fun. even with this fuel pump well on the short end, with the car tuned,

doing just spirited driving and stepping on it in bursts, it's official stats are barely noticeable.

it's simply a blast. so close to perfect, imo.

outa the heat.

and lovin' it.

I would race your 968 LS7 with my 924 but I would need to lower the boost down to 0.7bars I guess

All that repeated smack talk and the car makes 390hp and runs hot on the highway? I wonder how these results compare to a stock 951 with some bolts on...

Maybe we should all start nagging you on swapping back in the 4 cylinder....

Don't have that problem with a turbocharged i4.

I think a M44.51 engine swap is down your alley way. It'll solve the over heating issues.

It should make far, far more power. My 383 with a baby cam makes 422rwhp (~440rwhp at sea level according to my tuner here) and with a more wild cam would be more like 475rwhp.

Swapping that chevy to a 4cyl will definitely solve your 4k rpm redline, low power and overheating, this is our own moderator's Shawn dyno

4 less cylinders is also a weight saving factor
Less moving parts to go wrong.
less head gaskets to blow.
