I just did my first oil change and trying to reset the message on the dash "change oil now". I bought Launch X431 Creader VII+ on Amazon but cannot seem to find the proper menu to get to reset the message.

Has anyone used this tool?

Saw that. That what prompted me to buy a Creader. However, 7S has been discontinued and the next version is VII+ and that's what I have. I have since given up on it and will be returning it back to Amazon. I am trying the icarsoft if that will work. I just want that oil warning message gone!!!

When I was evaluating OBD readers, I decided to get the Autel Maxdiag Elite MD802 as it covers 50+ modules. I just used it this weekend to reset the Oil service reminder on my 981. It was so easy to use. It recognized many Porsche models as well as many other manufacturers.

Just an update. iCarsoft POR II works. Very user friendly - got the "oil change now" message gone in the first try right off the box!

Same here, bought the VII based on a rennist recommendation and it will not reset the service indicator. And I'm past the return window on Amazon so $70 wasted. Called Launch USA and was told it's a foreign market unit and not supported, great thanks for that!
