Is There a Porsche Service bulletin for door panel warping on 981?
Apologies that my "search" skills in this forum don't seem to work well so asking for info that may already have been posted. I recently saw posts on Rennlist regarding door panel "warping" and front luggage area inside fabric separation. Apparently well known issue on some Cayman's that don't have all leather interior (i.e. 2014 and later era Cayman). I "Googled" this issue and found on another Porsche forum (Speed6?) thread on problems getting some dealers to replace panels under warranty. In that context people said Porsche is well aware of issue and one person said there was a Porsche North America service bulletin on this. However no info on how to refer to service bulletin. I checked and passenger side panel where wraps around to window feels "loose" compared to driver side on my Cayman S. Build date May, 2015 and in-service date September 2015 so still in warranty. Just in case my Porsche dealer disputes problem would be good to come armed with service bulletin info if anyone has it.
Forums say problem is related to adhesive used on some build dates and was "fixed" later on. I expect Porsche knows from their records just which cars could have problematic adhesive and I wonder what their follow up panel replacement policy would be if problem happens after warranty expires (in case my driver's door panel comes unglued after warranty)?

HEre's what mine looked like. I would "tuck" it back under the rubber gasket and 4 days later it would work itself back put again.
Replaced carpet under warranty.

According to my SA at the dealer, it shrinks a bit. Maybe heat, since the car has lived in the south all its life? Dunno.
Honestly i I wasn't even going to mention it when I took the car in for the door panel issue, but the SA says he checks for it on the 981/991 cars that come in.
i wasn't inclined to argue.. they also replaced both my headlights, so I'm a happy camper.

Regarding the OPs original question, I haven't heard of one. The dealer SA just said it's a "common issue" on 981/991s.
also, regarding coverage after warranty, I suppose you might be able to get some "goodwill" depending on your relationship with your dealer. Hopefully your problem gets worse before September.

Both of my door panels have lifted up at the top; most visible from outside the car. Of course, mine is out of warranty and my dealer's response to such post-warranty issues in the past has been less than stellar. I'm quite interested in hearing of any concessions by Porsche in this matter.

My driver panel is leaning inward at the top and goes through squeaking spells (really weird, it'll do it all day every few months and then shut up until the next time), but I expect Porsche won't cover it.

If nobody holds their feet to the fire, then OF COURSE they won't cover it.

Have just gutted my 2015 Cayman S. Will be selling the interior when I have time. Black door cards are in great shape if interested. Very easy DIY replacement.

My dealer is taking to to task with Porsche. I brought it in under CPO with the warped door panels and they did not cover it. Now my CPO is expired since the start of the process, but I'll let you know what turns out. I have Agate/Pebble two tone interior so I'll never find used panels. almost $2K/each....
