Default Best Air Filter for 981 ???

Tried searching but couldn't find this type of thread.... A good old fashioned "best _____ for 981" thread.

ok, so what is your go to air filter for your car???

Please let us know what experience you've had with certain brands and what model, i.e. Base, S, GTS

the K&N has 5 star rating on Amazon with nothing but rave reviews about them.

thinking of doing exhaust soon and might as well get some new air filters too, so interested to hear some reviews from y'all.

thanks!

Just swapped my recently acquired CPO GT4 filters, which were obviously made of dirt, dropped in some different dirt, then kicked around with Pig Pen's dirty feet, with stock filters...now feel less of a need to get 4.5L conversion. Still want a re-gear, but car much better now.

Used to do K&Ns in my tuned VWs, but staying with OEM this go-round.

Stock paper. K&N is the way to go if you want to let a lot more dirt into your engine.

OEM. Airflow differences are negligible to K&N and BMC and keep incoming air cleaner. Just pay attention to them and don't let them get clogged up with grass or other junk. That applies to any filter.

I use K&N on my 981. Difference from stock is you can actually hear the throttle bodies... No issues after 12k miles either. Going in for service in a few weeks and have a fresh set to replace them.

Doesn't Porsche use BMC on some of their GT cars stock? (GT3RS?)

Definitely OEM. Why play around with some thing else that will provide absolutely no benefit . Don't drink the cool aid!

K&N for 3 years now. There is noticeable difference in throttle response. I would do it again.
