I used to really like the Boxster S wheels (I have those on my 981) but I think the Cayman S wheels are the best mostly for the heritage -- the Carrera GT has the same wheel design.

I prefer the look of 19" wheels on the 981s, but if I had to choose 20s, I would pick the Carrera S wheels like OP has.

I'm able to use GT4 wheels/tires setup on my Boxster Spyder to achieve a larger contact patch for each corner.

Love that Amaranth red!

Lots of great wheel designs by Porsche, but I'll 2nd the HRE FF01's as an aftermarket option. Love mine in hyper silver on my basalt black, seen here as I was swapping over from the Cayman S wheels a few years ago. And they're a bargain at `~$650 each.

Oh yeah, those HRE's are nice. Really only $650 each? That's more like it

Yes, around $650. Bought mine at Modbargains (link below - no affiliation) 3 years ago as a package with PS4S tires, mounted/balanced/new TPMS for $3,800 shipped. BTW, looks like my color was actually called Liquid Silver.

I'm sure I'm a minority opinion, but I think it's the car that makes all of those wheels look great! :-)

suncoastparts.com should carry them, albeit at close to full retail price. You can also keep an eye on the marketplace here and see if a used set comes up.

edit* just saw these in the marketplace for a 991 narrow body fitment

Hey Geowar,

HRE does all the work on fitments, but here are the specs. Best of luck I am very happy with these rims.

Front: 20x8.5 5x130 +50 offset
Rear: 20x10 5x130 +40 offset
