Thanks! I had to know what it would look like before pulling the trigger, so I spent some time searching for suitable source data. I wanted to get as close to reality as possible. I was considering the 981 Spyder/GTS 4.0 wheels also but thought these fit the look of the older car better. I like that they are wider than my current 19 x 8/19 x 9.5 wheels also.
Thanks. Now it's time for the disclaimer - they are photoshopped onto my car in that image. The wheels have been ordered and are on the slow boat from Germany. They are new car take offs from a Cayman Style Edition. They are identical in size and offset to the 981 Spyder/718 Cayman GTS 4.0 wheels. 20 x 8.5J ET57 and 20 x 10.5J ET47. I will post images once I have them. Mine will have Michelins also, ha.

Thanks! Happy to share my progress with photography. I live nearby and drive up the mountains pretty much every weekend. It's just not right not to stop here on my way up and practice my camera skills. The views are just spectacular.
I was looking through some of the original press images from the 981 release and this image really grabbed me. It shows off the shape and lines of the Cayman beautifully.
I posted this in another thread but post it here again. This is my (to me) new 2014 boxster I just bought with 6000 miles on it. I have to take care of few small cosmetic flaws but mechanically this car is like new. It is still not properly detailed, planning to do a through detailing and if feasible even ceramic coating. Has all the options I ever dreamt of as sport chrono package, sport suspension, Bose sound system, PDK and more. Will get with little work hopefully a nice garage queen.
Quick morning photoshoot before hitting the back roads of northern San Francisco bay. It's always a pleasant experience to watch the bridge glow as the sun peeks over the horizon.
