CV Boot slinging grease Repack & Clamp Sizes
The large ends of my CV boots on both sides are throwing a string of grease. Boots are in good shape, no tears. Read posts that say the grease thins up after 80k, nearly 10 years, and track days so going to clip the bands, pull the boots back, repack with Redline CV grease and reband. I have the oetiker type crimper tool from using on my other cars. Did some thread searches but not very clear.
Has anyone done this on the car?...or do I need to pull the axles? Have done this on many cars but want to avoid if possible.
Does anyone know the correct clamp sizes for 981S PDK car? I see in the threads that folks order a clamp kit from Pelican, etc. and the large end clamps they received are too big.
I suppose I can get under the car with a caliper and measure.
Thanks!!!

I ordered the clamps for my 981 from FCP Euro. Great clamps and with the proper ears to crimp with the proper tool.
