Default World's first Porsche Cayman 981 GT4RS conversion!

Hello fam it's Gene! In this video I collaborate with Matt from Porsche Mod Squad and he introduces his new build for 2024 with his 981 Porsche Cayman S and he converts to a complete GT4RS thanks to a company called Frog Venom. Some of you have purchased carbon fiber parts from Frog Venom already that i've seen. This is a complete conversion including all the exterior pieces as well as the exhaust and quarter panel intake system. So if you wanna see something that's quite unique, than sit back and watch this two part series as we dive into his amazing build!

Looks like a cosmetic conversion, sort of. Did it get suspension and engine form GT3? Otherwise, labeling it a GT4RS is phony baloney at best.

Should really call it a Cayman S-RS or something akin to that.

Always cool to see people figuring out ways to do things. This is a rather expensive experiment and not one I'd do, but I'm sure there's people out there that'll want to pretend they have a 4RS

That is insane conversion and an incredible amount of work…. Might have been cheaper with the prices falling to just buy a real one

should re-badge it to GT-Faux-RS

Not sure this makes economic sense. But I can appreciate a good project and someone making it their own. I am no purist so that helps, but when I was searching for my 981, there were a few cars that were made to look like the GT4. They all sold for less than an equivalent car that looked stock. Sometimes a clone does well, sometimes not. If you’re keeping the car none of this matters anyway. Certainly enjoyed watching the process. Good luck.
