Default Window seal issue

Hi, my 981 has a little bit of a gap just above the window seal/molding, which lets a tiny bit of water in during a car wash or under heavy rain. Has anybody run into this issue, and what kind of specialist do I need for it? For example, one mechanic recommended an auto body, because he wasn't sure how to fix it.

OK, I figured the plastic part I am pointing at in the photo is called "roof molding", "drip rail", or "door top trim moulding" (981-537-481-01). I guess this is the part that has to come up somehow to close the gap.

From what I've seen, most of that type of plastic trim snaps into place. PET didn't reference any type of adhesive like they usually do when adhesive is required to secure a part, so I'd assume it snaps in. A good body man ought to be able to help you out with this. I'd find someone who knows Porsche and is familiar with the methods used to attach that type of trim. They may be able to remove it and reposition it back into place, but if a clip is broken, replacement will probably be your only option. I do wonder how it got pulled out...I looked at my Cayman and that piece is really tight.

@TMc993 Thanks a lot, I think you nailed it. I found this video, where the guy shows how to remove the trim (on a 911). There are indeed plastic locator pins which you push inside the little openings on the frame and rotate 90 degrees to secure into place. I bet one these is either broken, or loose. I will try to find a body shop or some mechanic that has done this. The tricky part would be attaching the door rubber seal back in.
