Hello!

I am looking at getting a 981, and want to upgrade the PCM to one that has apple car play. I like the look of TAFFIO XY3201. Has anyone used this before?

I have taken a look at it a while ago as I think it blends (much) nicer into the interior than the Erisin head unit that many on here use. Since the latter is much cheaper I decided to buy it a while ago to see whether I like the Carplay experience in general. I don’t generally listen to music when driving the Porsche let alone watch Video (and when I do it’s old fashioned radio, no playlists) which is fortunate since the sound quality on my Erisin unit is pretty poor. I do like the satnav it comes with, as well as being able to use Maps or Porsche Roads. The realmedia unit costs about the same as having a professional installer fit Carplay to the OE CDR / CPM …. based on my current experience I think I would prefer this over any aftermarket system.
