Default 981 Brake Failure/Leak

My dad just wrote me an e-mail after having had his Boxster (981) in the dealership for maintenance due to a leak found under his car and spongy brake response. The techs found that one of the brake lines near, I believe, the master cylinder was the leaking culprit. Turns out the hose that is having the leak should have a clamp but it was missing. Well there was no way the clamp could come off without the whole brake line being disconnected as per the Porsche parts catalog. So they determined it came incomplete from the factory. To see if this was an isolated case they looked at the other 981's on the lot and they all had the missing hose clamp.

Anyone else have this issue or were aware of it? I guess his dealer is sending out a message to PCNA for a possible service bulletin.
