It's too hot in the summer to put the top down.

My Audis were great in the snow, especially with snow tires on them. But I was always more afraid of others hitting me than me having a problem in the snow. So I decided, even before the Cayman I didnt want to drive my nice cars in the snow, so the new vehicle is below. Love it.

My winter vehicle is a 4WD Silverado and my wife drives an Acura MDX.
If we can't get where we're going in one of those, very few others are going anywhere either.

We don't have winter cars here - just cars!

the X5 and 330Xi are the DD's. Hard to beat a Subie for all around utility/price. We had a '13 Forrester and hated the CVT though.

I love my 957 GTS... It's a tank. My winter wheels are 21" with Pirelli Scorpions that are great in the snow.

I had and loved a E46 for many years, but ultimately sold it when it got to ~200k miles and became a PITA to keep running. Are lower mile examples still viable DD's (sounds like yes)?
