Default Which color finish wheels on GT Silver Spyder??

GT Silver Spyder, Red/Blk LWB's, Red calipers.

Considering some BBS FI-R's, and initially thought black finish would go best and contrast well with the lighter colored finish on car.

What I do not like about black wheels is that you lose all initial detail of the wheel compared to the likes of a Platinum or Silver finish.

Thoughts or pics you might share may help me decide.

TIA

Not a fan of black wheels myself, but hey, that's what makes the world go round!

My vote is for plain-Jane silver.

My rule of thumb: When in doubt, go classic!

Good luck

Either a real contrast to the car paint, or a close match. Only mildly different really wouldn't work for me.

Platinum. Looks best with GT Silver IMO.

The problem with black(esp. without a silver rim) is that no one can see what your wheels look like, just one black hole with the tires. They also don't photograph well. You could go to graphite if you want, like I did with my Turbo II's.

Silver or Platinum.....

The black definitely contrasts nicely against silver but as you noted, the detail is completely lost from a distance over 5 ft away.
