Default GT Paddle Shift Steering wheel replacing the buttons

I was slowly, very slowly, working on installing paddles (AMG) into a spare steering wheel I bought. 987.1 triangle. Well look what Santa brought me today, yah. I am also replacing the steering wheel angle sensor as mine is intermittent. I was worried about the difference in wiring hookups, but the connector is the same from the wheel to the angle sensor. Wondering if there is going to be any supprises as I swap out the sensor, wheel, and airbag.

I read your post as moving parts from the 997 steering wheel into the 987 steering wheel. Is that correct?
Why don't you bolt the newer 997 wheel into the 987?

Well, changed out the steering angle sensor, that clears the annoying intermittent PSM fault. Now I have an airbag light that I can't get to clear (using the POR 11). Also, the horn does not work and nore do the manual shifters.

So it appears like I need to replace the Electronic unit to a 2012. In doing this I will need to replace again the steering sensor clock spring unit to match. OK this is getting spendy

Parts should be delivered today (Fedex have missed me twice already, maybe the third attempt will be a charm).

Finally got the parts. Changing the EU in the steering column is not that easy. So what did I get? Still no paddle shifting, still an airbag light, PSM failure came back on, but hey, I got the horn to work. What do I need to do?
