Default PCCM's are coming again

According to Coast Porsche in Beaverton, OR; a new batch of PCCM's are shipping to dealers in the next few weeks. I pre-paid for one their web site via PayPal.

Do you have any idea if these are only for 987.1 cars, or .2 as well?

Default Camera

I went ahead and pre-installed the rear back up cam and routed the wire to the left rear taillight. Then stopped there; need to decide how I want to power the cam. I’d like to turn the back up cam from the PCCM and not rely on the backup lights for boltage
Sny experience here ?

Gaudin, being a classic dealer, seems to have an infinite supply of them. Just for others that don't want to wait for their local dealer.

.1 only. .2 PCCM+, if it is released, will be another couple of years most likely before it is out. If you have a PCM 3.0, I highly recommend adding a CarPlay module to it.

Has backup camera support been announced for this batch of the units?

Thanks, I do have PCM 3.0. This is a fourth car so it’s not really imperative for the way it is used.

Lack of wireless Carplay is such a drag. When I found out I went and bought an aftermarket HU instead.

Easy fix. I
added this added this
when I bought my Audi with a Pioneer head unit. Works like a charm.

Agreed, I'd take the factory looking unit but with the aftermarket adapter vs a full aftermarket unit.
