Default Where to move this trans cooler (987.2 manual)

Interseries car - need to add a muffled system so this trans cooler isnt going to work (not to mention its in a crap location to begin with.

Where are people mounting these out of the way? Flip it up into the rear frunk and pull lines through the floor?

Any pics of other ideas?

Im not a big fan of bringing flammable liquids in the passenger compartment.... Go with oil/water cooling. Much more compact. Can be mounted on the side or on the tail of the trans.

I posted my solution here a couple of years ago, search for my SPC build thread. Built racing has subsequently released a similar solution as a kit as well.

They make the kit for 987.1

Any idea why they purposely don’t include 987.2 for the kit? I’ll buzz them Monday

tough to get a spot for this big thing

I'm cooling a PDK so take it for what it's worth. I have one cooler run up front (oil/air) for the differential/gear section with a pump mounted in the tunnel (BGB setup). I have another cooler (oil/water) for the clutch section mounted in a similar location to what you show but it's more compact (LN Engineering setup).
