I can’t imagine what he’d do on a dry track?!

I’d love the water/oil temp, and especially oil pressure info like that. (Even historical).

What’s the easiest way to achieve that on a 99% road car?

A foxwell NT-530 POR will give you Oil and Water temps that are pretty good. I don't have a great answer for logging oil pressure for street cars. There have been some threads on how to install a pressure sensor and gauge but I'm hoping to come up with an inexpensive logger solution that can capture both external sensor and ECU (canbus) data.

I have done many laps at VIR. This one was very impressive. Entering the climbing esses at 130 mph must have been a little bit of a pucker moment for the passenger!
I was interested, indeed amazed, to see that he drops down to 1st gear in some places.

The calculated gear was off by 1 so it was actually a downshift to 2nd. And yes, lots of adrenaline for the passenger. 😎

Great lap, and thank you for sharing the data. I can't wait to overlay with my stock 987.2 to understand the differences. Can you confirm what tires you were running?

Very cool. Goodyear F3R. They had really good grip for a “street tire”.

Looking forward to any “inexpensive logger solutions” you come up with.

I have a Foxwell 530. (Not sure if it’s a POR, PRO?)
Does it have to be plugged in, and turned on while driving, and read live?

The POR version can read the Porsche specific values. Yes, it can be set to read (and log) the current values when plugged in.
