Anyone own Macadamia Brown?
Comments on living with this color as a daily driver?

I'm curious too. There were a couple macadamia brown cayman's at Sonnen that looked great. I wonder if it's high maintenance like black or because of the brown tone it's more like caring for a silver car. In the late afternoon I was browsing the lot there was strong low sunlight. On both the shady and sunny halves of the car it was hard to notice any dust, but that was just one viewing.

saw the color on turbo.
very subdued and elegant, but not a "normal" or "traditional" porsche color though.

there's a brown color that was on 911's back around the 80's; you'd see them with all the black plastic bumper things etc. ,and maybe black rims with chrome lips from time to time. macadamia looks a lot like that, but with just enough metal flake to pop really spectacularly in sunlight or (especially) under street lights. very pretty color!

How many of you lusted after a brown 911 in the 70's or early 80's? What are their desirability now? Just a question. How is a brown Cayman going to look in 10 years?

I doubt anyone interested in the new brown sports cars was around last time - that's why it's making a comeback. Personally, I didn't care for it as a car shade last time around either, though I was stuck with a brown metallic Chevette for a bit.

Not true, I remember this color 'back in the day'.

Looks like I'll soon have first hand experience. Just leased a macadamia brown cayman non-s and am picking up tomorrow. Drove my first Porsche yesterday afternoon which is the one I ended up leasing (wait, i moved an old 914 out of our fraternity driveway but doesn't really count). Had a tough time sleeping last night before deciding. Being this excited for anything is priceless. Went to the dealership at 7am this morning to look at it again! Let's see if I get any sleep tonight. Details and pictures tomorrow! There's a nice mac Targa available if that's your speed.

I'm not dead yet! I had a 1964 Togo Brown 356C. Not quite the same brown- and not metallic, but I liked it and wish I still had it.

I looked at a base Boxer in that brown color. I thought it was ugly - but I really don't like brown cars anyway.
