Good news for 987 owners regarding clutch option

Hey there everyone,

Recently we have been seeing an increase of clutch pressure plate failures with the 987 gearboxes, some of you here may have had this experience yourself.

Well we did some research here recently and was able to find a direct replacement for the OEM part that includes an upgrade to the pressure plate that should keep it from exploding, now.

If you are giving consideration to maybe changing out your clutch this winter, feel free to get in touch with me. I have a call into Sachs right now to get a firm price on this Sachs racing pressure plate. I will update everyone here later today, I hope.

So to update everyone here, it looks like the upgraded pressure plate is going to be about $600.00 which is certainly not cheap, however, given the damage that is caused when one of these goes away. It would seem to be a no brainer to me.
