Why is this forum so Q U I E T ????
I am a new 987 S owner and sign on here every day or so and I am disappointed that there isn't more chat. Are there other places in cyberspace where one can find other 987 owners to compare notes, etc.?
I guess everyone is out driving their cars - which is obviously a good reason not to be on here!

Actually I have noticed that a lot of the forums I frequent are quiet. I think people are focused on the holidays and with the winter weather they aren't thinking much about their sports cars.

I only wish I were driving my car...we've had lousy weather and there is another snow storm on the way.
For now, I'm keeping busy going through the owners manual and looking at pix of other RS60s.
Best regards,

I agree, one boxster/cayman/spyder board would be good here. they are essentially the same cars and any specific topics (like about soft tops which is unrelated to caymans) can be ignored. the extra value of combining boards is that folks with earlier versions, 986, can learn what is going on with newer versions. Some may disagree, but a 987 is similar enough to a 986 that most information is sharable. I had a 1999 base and now own a 2008S. Faster? Yes. 6 speeds not 5? Yes. Are they greatly different? No.
