Default Installed Cayman S spoiler on my boxster

Painted the upper portion, since i have white/black theme anyways

Looks great! Fortunate to have the '08 LE that had the dual element Cayman spoiler. Love it! Wish it could raise at a lower speed automatically!

very nice Robert.... inquired at suncoast about that they said i have to buy the whole kit... so i just opted to to this for now..turned out great..

Does this Cayman spoiler have any performance benefit, or did you do it for cosmetic reasons?

Hmmm, being a small wing are you sure it delivers the same down force on a Boxster? The stock spoiler is like a wall which undoubtedly catches considerable air. I'm sure the airflow is very different between the Boxster and Cayman hence the different approaches.

But if all your after is aesthetics then enjoy!

This is an interesting conversion because it certainly upgrades the look of the rear spoiler. I mean, who likes that ugly stock plank that Porsche threw on their early Boxsters?

Does anyone have more recent feedback on doing this? I just bought a 987.2 and the idea certainly has an appeal to me.

Approximately how much are the parts needed for this conversion? Of course painting it is an added cost.
