I just got my Spyder and a few things funny to me.
It has a rear spoiler button and rear defrost button (I assume it at least heats the mirrors). Given the fact that the button cluster under the climate control is a separate unit, you'd think Porsche could make a button set up without the spoiler button. |

And thanks for noticing my thread. It really is strange that they did that. That part has many versions. Some with more or less buttons depending on the options on a given 997 or 987.

It's been noticed and discussed before, thus the little replies. At the NY show I believe Porsche showed a Silver Spyder without the button. It was a rolling change I think?

Does anyone here have a spyder without the button?

what's more odd is that even if you add a PSE or Sport Chrono aftermarket, the new buttons go on the left...

It's all pretty intriguing! As a geek, I'd be keen for any images and evidence... ;-)
