More details later.
The Capristo system? 39lbs lighter...right off the sides and *** where it counts the most. It incorporates an electronic backpressure sensor to activate the exhaust valves thereby preserving low end torque while allowing high rpm free flow. An elegant and well engineered solution.

Looking forward to your thoughts. The only two areas that could use some improvement, IMO...engine sound and brakes.

Whew, finally fired it up tonight. Exhaust install, done right, takes a good bit of time and effort. Set to "Open" exhaust is just flat-out crazy. Banshee howl (inside the shop). Set to "Cruise" and it's like a purring kitten.
Too tired and still snowy roads here so full test drive tomorrow. Then a thorough wash and some decent pics. A lot of work went into this car over the past 9 months. Much of it I did myself. Lot of trial and error on suspension and settings. Goal was better than OE when tracked yet fully streetable.
Lost weight, gained power and gave it reliable freight train brakes that should never need maintenance except for once every two year pad changes.

Thanks Russ. GT3 lower control arms. Monoball ends. Bump-steer adjustable toe control arms with spherical ends. Solid, adjustable, caster pucks. Tarett drop links. Custom spec rear sway.

Pete, your Spyder should kick butt on a tight track, any chance you'll be dropping by Spring Mountain this coming weekend? It would be very interesting to see the Spyder in action.
I'll be sharing a BMW track prep car with a few buddies at SM this weekend, the trip with our cars in the transporter didn't pan out, should be an interesting weekend in the BMW instead of my GT3.
