No problems with Sport Cup 2's and the rain.

I drove my 16 RS 5 hours straight approx 400 miles and what a smooth ride in those sport buckets - loved it and awaiting the chance to go on a long drive again

I've driven Cup 2's in all iterations since 2002. The "bad in the wet" reputation has more to do with driving at the limits on track. For street driving, they are pretty decent. Unless, of course, you drive on the streets in the wet like you're on the racetrack.

To the OP: thanks for sharing! Average speed of 60+ means you were hauling at a lot higher than that to make up for traffic or surface roads! LOL.

Sounds like an uneventful trip!

My GF and I also thought the buckets were comfortable and aside from one comment about the upright angle and how it's not conducive to sleeping, she was fine for 4 hours.

I'm curious why you chose to drive vs. trailering the car back to LA.

Agreed.

My wife and I find the sport buckets surprisingly comfy.
