These idiots need to quit, especially on a public road with other drivers around. Play with your own fate, but don't risk innocent lives.

I would say the Rs is lighter in weight.
plus the guy in the rs I think is the better driver.

This should be good for 20 pages of analysis, refutes and potentially another roll race that shows this one was all the fault of the touring driver. How bad can a driver be in a straight line? I'll admit I'm surprised and suspect of the results and I'm a 7-4.0 owner.

OK I didn’t expect those results, more respect for the 997 4.0 RS (if that’s even possible). I didn’t think the 997 4.0 RS would stand a chance vs. a GT3T much less pull on it. Something doesn’t feel right...

Not agreeing to this street race, especially driving past a car in the middle lane doing 120 MPH+ , nonetheless the touring driver has a very slow reaction , RS driver always jumped and the touring driving shifting was very slow.

Did Touring use no-lift shift? Seems to help a good bit (maybe offset the 997’s weight advantage)

Street racing is dumb. Roll racing is dumb, as the gearing and RPM gives one car an advantage over the other. If you want the facts, check the magazines that have tested these cars 0-60, 0-100, Qtr mile, etc. If you want the mfr numbers, they are easy to compare.
Only variable we are testing here, if both cars stock, is which driver shift faster, and WILL THESE IDIOTS END UP ON A CRASH COMPILATION VIDEO!?!?

the cars seem basically dead even. the only races where the 4.0 pulled were when the driver got a decent jump.

Impressive for a 2011 4.0 vs a 2018 4.0 engine to be this even, if in fact they are. Still seems a little suspect in my book. What do Porsche's published numbers say?

This is such a stupid video.......start in wrong gear along with additional weight of a passenger and you will get spanked 10 out of 10 times, start in wrong gear with no passenger and you will still get spanked 10 out of 10 times

4.0 looks good. Car is aging nicely. I think the new car is faster but starting in the wrong gear.

both cars have passengers, both cars started in second gear. i don't think it is trying to say which car is better but just to show real world performance amongst friends... for fun. perhaps the GT3T is not broken in yet.

yes street racing is not good and don't condone it.
