My Touring just arrived. Here's the obligatory picture or it really didn't happen :-) GT Silver and it's a stripper. Now i'm getting bombarded with all "extras" they want to sell you. I'll probably take the wheel/tire insurance for $895. My question is about the Porsche Connect App. It's free for a few months then a yearly service charge. I don't see any value in the app? Am I missing something that you can't live without?
I've actually used the online search to find addresses/places that weren't in the nav system's data base. But, I do use the nav system - not Waze or anything on my PED...
Apart from fooling around with the apps looking up the mileage and gas level while bored, haven’t used either app even once and it will be a year next month. Won’t be renewing.
