Would you worry about buying a brand new car that has sat for 3 years?

As long as the service is up to date, it should be no problem. Remember, the service should be performed every year regardless of mileage (or sooner based on mileage - RTFM and all). Brake flush is at the second service if I recall correctly. Brake fluid is hygroscopic and will absorb water even if not used.

The car is sold
Surprising that someone would get an R in standard interior.
Basically new car for 315K? The time that 911R was just released and sold for a million dollars doesn't look that far away.
I think someone mentioned it was driven from dealer to home and home to dealer? And the car is garage queened, wonder how furious the owner drove those 2 ways, since those are the only chances for him to experience the car.
