Absolutely great post. And you are right that Sweet P's and Dead End are both good but Sweet P's is better.

That was a great write up. Thank you for putting in the all that effort to share an experience. Tail of the Dragon is definitely on my bucket list.

Thanks for reading. It was a lot, but I enjoyed writing it. Looking forward to hear about your trip.

Please look into "Smokies GT" events, get your self on the waiting list for next years event and come join us! We have about 100-125 GT cars (from ALL over the country) up in those hills for 4 days (including one track day). We also raise a pretty nice bit of $$ for Cystic Fibrosis while we are enjoying our cars. I would guess over 50% of us come as couples and you two will obviously fit right in! Thank you for sharing your trip - we are so lucky to live pretty close to the area so we can get up there a few times each year.

OMG... me and my husband have been talking about this and wanting to do an event and after this road trip we are so ready. I read this comment and told him get us on the waiting list. Lol. He knows all about it and has been ready to do an event since we got the car. I’m now looking forward to one and meeting the wives ☺️. Glad u liked my post. Looking forward to driving together one day lol...

Hi “T” (Advisor B’s wife)

I know it’s an old thread but I stumbled across it and enjoyed reading your journal of what sounds like an epic trip! I also enjoyed our many chats over the WGI weekend with RTR a few weeks ago. (I was next to you in my Grey GT4). In fact one of my fave pics of the weekend is below and your cars are shown!

I hope you continue your track driving and that our paths cross again!

And it was a pleasure meeting you too, Advisor B!

All the best!

H

Hi, One, that is an awesome picture and for a not so great weather weekend, I had a pretty good time at WGI. Thanks soo much for all your encouraging words and support for my track weekend. Thanks for reading my post, it was definitely an epic trip and at this point, one of many (I have to post our other trips). It was great meeting you and I know our paths will cross again. A baby track rat has been born. LOL!
