Like it or not, this is the future of performance. I’m going to hide my C6 ZR1 and 991.2 GT3 in the garage and never sell them because they both make sounds no electric car will ever be able to duplicate.

That said, I’d love a Taycan for a daily. Man, what brutal, silent, killer around town. Dramatically better build quality and materials than any Tesla too, I’m sure.

There's already a forum for the Thai-can.

I think there is also a thread on the Vitamix Blender forum about the car as well. Some talk about the similarities of the electrical windings or something.

Congratulations. You are barely as fast as a 6 year old Telsa at double the cost. Way to go Porsche!

To be clear, that was just in reference to the ridiculous naming convention of the Taycan as the Turbo S…

In my view electric cars will force a bit of a divergence between exotic, fun sports cars and speed. It won't matter so much that the newest exotic can rip off 9 second quarter miles when a noiseless, emotionless appliance can do it just as faster (with more seats, more comfort, etc). Sports cars will become more about how the car makes you feel, the noise, the emotion, and less about the speed. Considering we're already far beyond what is useable on the street, I see this as a positive change.

I agree, that is a completely ridiculous naming convention!
