Default New Maxxion Windshield Protection Film vs. Other films

Constantly testing various products to ensure our clients are getting the latest and best. Today we are proud to announce that we are an Authorized Maxxion Windshield Protection Film Dealer. Testing this film since early July of 2018 on our daily beaters, it has thus far stood the test. Whether it is Clearplex, Bray, or Exoshield, the problems we have found with those films are wiper scratches. Once the film is damaged from wipers, the films' coatings then begin to crack.

Few interesting points about Maxxion
1. Self-healing from scratches that would be permanent on other films
2. No rainbow effect

Here is a short video we made to compare with Exoshield. Will post another we did with Clearplex.

Loving exoshield... No rainbow, zero issues. As per the wiper blades, I guess it depends on the crap u get on them and if u continue to use contaminated blades.

Any more details on impact tests and the insurance? Exoshield covers $2k for 24 months on the gt2rs,

Maxxion is a 36 month product. The manufacturer is Prestige Film Technologies. If you are not in the SF Bay, contact the manufacturer to see who they have near you:

Our experience with Clearplex is it lasts no more than 12 months and is a total pain in the *** one the film begins to crack.....

Your experience is representative of the tech in these films. Both Exo and Clearplex have the same longevity issues. Once wipers damage the coating, it then begins to crack and delaminate. We have not had this issue with Maxxion and we were beating the film up with our dailies since mid 2018. The tech in Maxxion is quite different. Highky hydrophobic and self healing. This is the only windshield protection film that is self healing.

+1, I've heard that Clearplex is tough to install on those vintage windows with a bit of wrap around surface curve.

We never had any issues with any windshield protection film. Installer experience will vary on this point though.

Going the wrong way in my opinion, zero luck with clearplex and exoshield has been amazing. What was ur issue with exoshield? Perfectly clear, no distortion, rainbow, or scratches, staining.

Can we see the rainbow, distort shot after self healing? This could be the next film I try, what's the price point?
