Default PPI and Ceramic Brakes and Overrevs Question

1- I'm doing a PPI on a '16 RS with PCCB. I was told by a friend to have the brakes weighed to see how much life is left in them. The car has 7,600KM on it and the brakes look new (in pictures). There are no spider webs as I've been told that's a concern. The tech that's doing the PPI called me just now and told me they can weigh the PCCB but it will cost a few hours extra of labour. However, he said that they have an ultrasonic tool that measures the rotors and makes sure of the brakes current condition. Should I be ok with this reading or still go ahead with them pulling off the wheels and weighing the brakes?

2- The dealer also told me that the system won't allow them to check for overrevs on PDK cars. Is that correct?!

I've sent them a list of important items in addition to everything they do under a PPI, if I'm missing something important, please do let me know. Thanks!

Important Inspection Items:

-PCCB condition of rotors and pads. How much life is left in them. Very important.
-DME Report (Overrevs, engine faults and all other applicable items).
-Please make sure suspension setup is all OEM Porsche.
-Paint chips and paint condition overall on the car.
-Check for chips on windshield
-Check for chips on headlights and LED front lights.
-Condition of Tire, how much life left.
-Is the Service of car up to date.
-Is there an updated Vehicle Inspection and Maintenance for Driving on Race Tracks complete?
-Is the Front Axle Lift functioning as it should.
-Dynamic Engine Mounts are functioning.
-Are all recalls completed on the car.
-LSD in functioning as it should.
-Is there a Check Engine Light?
-PDK functioing
-PCM/speakers functioning.
-Car toolkit is complete and not missing anything (centrelock tool)

The tool that they are using is fine for the PCCB's. I would feel more comfortable with that than weighing them.

As far as the DME report, I have not heard of PDK cars not being able to be checked. Maybe he means that there would be no significant overrevs on a PDK car, which should be the case, but it still gives you an idea of how the car was driven.

May be a good idea to have the dealer put a paint meter on it too while they are checking paint condition. I would ask them to point out every flaw no matter how small, since everyone has a different idea as far as what is acceptable and what is not when it comes to buying a used car.

The tool measures residual carbon density and the rotors must be off the car for the most accurate reading

Does this tell you much (aside from being in French). This was done when the car was last serviced.

Maybe a stupid question, but how do you over rev a PDK?

You can’t significantly over-rev, but you can get a few stray ignitions slightly beyond the redline (due to rev limiter having a less than totally severe cut-off)

Here is what I've been told by my service consultant:
Hitting the rev limiter in a PDK car could result in stage 1-2 over-rev.
Stage 1-2 over-rev is harmless.
