it will be one hell of a car to do that. 550hp and 9,500-10,000 rpm redline would probably do it. This cup car engine is pretty epic int the 991.2. Due to emissions I think it will not carry over to the 992. But like I said it will be cool to see what they put together.

I'm searching the new Rennlist Marketplace, the used car shopping menu choice on the Porsche USA website, and Autotrader. Ideally I'd find a 991.2 GT3 Touring with 6 speed manual, full bucket seats, front axle lift, in a reasonably understated color. This doesn't seem to exist less than 500 miles away (or more) from my location just outside NYC - at least not for now.

Opinions welcomed!
Just did a quick search on cargurus and 82 .2 gt3 are listed, wouldn’t call that number so few.Def lower than 3 months ago but still plenty around. And the combo of mt/buckets/fal is the go to flipper spec so don’t think it’s hard to find either. Actually 3 are specced like this in my cargurus’ saved listing and 2 are PTS as well, all sitting 90 days+

I'll be on the list for the next 3RS. Will probably skip the GT3. I currently have a 992 for a daily driver though and I love everything about the new car exterior and interior. Makes my 991.2 seem old.

Me too.

The 997 folks probably felt the same about the 991, until they actually experienced it.

I have a winged .2 pdk with steels and LWB, exactly the car I wanted and I got it new. The 992 is going to drive amazing but I’m not a fan of the hood line where it meets the bumper, giant butt, and the interior is TBD for me until we see the PDK shifter in the GT3.

I have a manual 987.1 cayman with a 3.6 conversion and other upgrades so I get my manual fix when I want. All modern Porsche’s are great but I find the 991.2 GT3 pretty amazing and will keep driving and tracking mine for years to come. Drive’em and enjoy’em people!

lolll - yah i toyed with the idea on my jet black touring but ultimately went with just the black. i have seen a few with red belts and gauges... may have been yours!

IMO, the standard Touring interior with the "retro-corduroy-like" seat inserts, black brushed metal trim and NO ultrasuede (except for the damn headliner) is perfection. To me it screams "purpose-built driver's car." If I wanted leather radio ***** I would have ordered a TTS...
i think the touring interior was perfect. the leather steering wheel is almost a must have for my next pdk winged car but quite rare so i doubt i get it.

can always change the steering wheel...

touring interior is too plain to me; the alcantara bits of the winged car with brushed alu trim make it that tiny bit more interesting to me

When the 992 is announced I suspect more become available.
The real question is if there are COVID delays with the 992

I've been contemplating selling my Manual Miami Blue GT3 and finally decided to list it. It's got buckets and all the other goodies you could ask for:

I saw this thread title the other day and laughed. Didn’t we have one a few weeks ago that said “why are there SO MANY 991.2 gt3 manuals for sale?”. I didn’t read all the posts; so, maybe it is partially poking fun at the prior thread? Idk? Anyway, good for a laugh.

Too many gt3’s.....covid......sky falling......too few gt3’s.......more

Me too for the 992.2 GT3 RS (not interested in the GT3)
