I have a bunch of older Porsche cars newest being a 2008 GT3RS and turbo cab.

Any idea if extending warranty to 8 yrs 100 k miles is worth the $6k as my other cars never really breakdown never had an out of pocket failure.

Also on the prepaid 5 yr maint for close to $6k assuming low mileage. Not sure if it makes sense

I know very small dollars compared to purchase.

I think the Porsche extended warranty is a bargain for a high performance car. Compare to Ferrari and MAC and it’s comparatively- free. I purchased it for my 2018 GT3.

I would do the Warranty. My 18 has until Nov 2021 but I will extend warranty for as long as I can get one that is fair.

How to do the extended warranty? Ive tried at porsche and they said nothing for the gt3rs or gt2rs... i contacted to dealers.

Prepaid maintenance from a P dealer, absolutely not. You are limited to certain mileage and time frames, and you can very easily "eat" the prepaid monies. Ask me how I know that.

Extended warranty for $6K for 8 years/ 100K miles, absolutely. Don't think twice about that. Money well spent.
