They look great- can you really hear a difference just changing the tips?

Yes, subtle but noticeable. If you check out the stock tips they have a pretty substantial drop in inside diameter and the profile is designed to reflect and reduce the volume.

In combination with the valve delete kit also it makes for a good sound improvement without changing out the stock exhaust

Who is referring? Sorry for the confusion, don’t know if a post may have been deleted since

Yes we have three options for the OPF cars and the Valved system you have linked above does allow the car to retain the split personality many enjoy. Albeit along with a huge weight reduction, increase in power and that signature JCR sound

Does the valve delete mostly change low rev/throttle sound? Thought it was established that the valves are open most of the time anyway?

Valves open over quite a small throttle opening over set RPM ranges but snap closed the moment that the throttle is lifted and on downshifts and partial throttle or closing throttle applications. They're constantly varying to some degree, of course the valve delete will not make the car louder at WOT but this just adds more sound more of the time.

The tips do add volume as they remove the factory restriction
