Pretty interesting BAT auction that popped up today. Car has around 165 miles and 5 previous owners.

This car is a bit controversial, some people love it, some hate it... this reminds me of the Carrera GT when it first came out. It's under the radar for now and it feels like a great entry point in the low $300k.

Do you think it'll become a collector in 10 years eventually?
- anyone that paid 500 was either stupid or has stupid money that they care not a wit about.
- virtually any car will be "collectable" given enough time. just watch the auctions to see some of the stuff that hammers down.
- GT2 RS hardly flies under the radar.

buy the car because you like it and assume it'll be worth zero when it's time to sell.

Wheels are easily added after the fact. Personally I think the non-mag wheels look great and are fine.

I think its actually a good car to buy. Its a 2+ y/o car with some cars bringing close to MSRP. Depreciation on some other cars can be significant. I know of a 2019 Ferrari 488 with 1300 miles and very clean, 25+% loss for trade in. Not a comparison to traditional investments. In that class of assests, hypercar performance with low depreciation history compared to others in that demographic.

also I think the BAT auction car comes with magnesium wheels, according to the description.

Buy, drive, smile.
If it goes up in value, all the better.

I feel like there are better options even if you insist on buying a car as an investment.
