What oil pressure are you seeing on your gauge when just cruising on the freeway? I never paid too much attention but it seems high and it goes to about 4.5 when under a load.

Same as mine. Typically about 50 psi above 2-3k rpm when warm. I should make a video. At cold start, it can be 65 psi off idle, almost into the red zone on the top end but the car has never complained about it. M1 0W40 at freezing temps.

Mine is a .2. Thanks, I never really paid too much attention until today.

one of the changes between both gens is the new oil pump , the pressures on the .2 are higher .
