best auto insurance for rarely driven GT3?
I'd appreciate some recommendations for auto insurance for a rarely driven GT3. I live in the Rocky Mountains and the driving season is only May-October. I love my GT3, but only put 1500 miles a year on her.
I'm thinking it would be best to have a separate auto policy for my GT3 that reflects that it is rarely used. It is mostly a track car for me, I drive to and from the track once a month during the driving season and take a few long weekend trips with her each year, but that is it.
I've had state farm, progressive, geico. I have turned my collision coverage off during the winter, but I wonder if there is a better way to insure my car separately since I drive the wheels off my other cars, but not my GT3.
Suggestions?

I think it also depends where you live. I pay 2K a year for Grundy but I also live in the great Los Angeles area so accidents are higher so they rate based on the crappy drivers around you.

I pay about $800 per year for my .2 GT3 it is bundled with 2 other cars I do not have a milage restriction. I am in the Northeast and also take collision off from December 1st to April 1st. I have a broker that I use they often have access to companies that don't sell direct to consumer. I currently have Hanover insurance.

I def need to look around. I live in FL which I'm told by USAA is the most expensive state in the US. I pay:
15 Macan S - $1,846
17 C4S - $2,138/yr
18 GT3 - $2,120/yr
The Macan is 9 years old and has 35K on it. The C4S has 4K on it and the GT3 has 1K on it.
I'll looking the Porsche insurance since I don't drive them much...
