5000 km ago all 4 wheel bearings where replaced. Now, after 2 Trackdays one of them looks like this:

Is it f***** up?

Looks like just rust on the outside… if there’s no side to side motion, then it’s probably fine, and just rusted from your living near the ocean, or from water getting behind the rotor during an aggressive car wash.

I think he means the blueing of the bearing, which indicates excessive heat, seen also on the rubber seal. It is most probably dead. Pretty strange though.

Yes, thats what im talking about. But there is no clicking noise and no noise when turning. There is just this kind of grinding noise between 30-80 kph (above the rest of the car is too loud).

I just hope its not the differential

Do you drive it on salted roads or near the ocean?
And were the new bearings OEM or aftermarket?

If there's grinding, then it sounds problematic. You don't want to drive on those, if that's the case. bearings on a GT3 are a bear to change out. Is it possible that they weren't properly installed, or you used refurbished parts?

Update: its not the wheel bearing
other side looks similar, so I think its part of the manufacturing process.
Maybe driveshaft/differentail/gearbox.
Hopefully the dealer will find out.

Update:

The clicking noise doesnt come from the wheel bearing

Cold start, idle:

I have a guess: The starter hits the flywheel from time to time.

Yes. The bearing definetly does not make sounds when stationary.
