Looks like $15k for the kit if I'm reading right? Seems like a lot of bang for your buck. I'd definitely be curious to hear from any owners how it holds up during heavy track use.

Years back I put a supercharger kit on an E36 M3, jumped from about 200whp to 300whp but kept the linear powerband that I loved and drove like stock around town. I would think the GT3 would be a similar experience.

Are there any of these running around with the back bumper? Seems like a massive oversight to design a supercharger kit but not be able to run the oem rear bumper cover if you want to run a proper air filter. There's a local GT3 that has this kit, but has his own tubular bar rear bumper with the rear of the car mostly exposed.

I like the idea of this kit, considering the $ per hp it provides compared to a header and airbox setup from Dundon, but being able to conceal the supercharger setup for the element of surprise would be more fun imo.

The harrop Supercharger seemed OEM plus like option but covid came, heavily impacted Australia and no news since then.

I hope it comes to fruition one day.

The original bumper apparently fits back on, I read through the other thread. Pretty impressive gains.

I've seen him at a few meets out in Cedar Park area. While I personally agree with you about the element of surprise, his car looks extra mean with the paint matched tubular rear "bumper" and it sounds vicious. Also takes off like a bat out of hell and I had nooooooooo chance of keeping up. ;

I would absolutely do this, if I decide to keep my RS.
I have owned several centrifugal systems on my mustang. They are by far the easiest on the engine, drive like a N/A car until you get into boost, and then it’s literally just more horse power all the way to redline.

If this appeals to you, go buy a Hellcat. They are fun until a friend sees you driving one.... In all seriousness buy a TurboS if this is what you're looking for. What a tragic end to a perfectly good GT car.

a hellcat is a 4500lb POS that doesn’t handle.
who wouldn’t want the best handling car on the market with a bit more power.

Yes I have a drag car, iMo this isn’t about drag cars….

Proving my case... Hellcat is fun until someone sees you in it..... cuz it's a one trick pony POS..... And as far as #2, Porsche thought of that concept - they called it the GT2RS.

What it comes down to is it's your car and if this makes you happy then do it. I'd just want to make sure of the reliability, and drivability.

The Hellcat isn’t even that good at that “one trick pony game”. Enter any car with more power to weight ratio, and any home wrencher worth their salt

GT2 RS is a GT3RS with 2 turbos, and for 2 turbos the markup is borderline extortion. Sure there are other things… but not to justify the 7 figure upcharge.

it’s your money do what you want with it, let others do the same.
