Default Birch Please

Been a while since I've been in this part of the forum ... so much nicer now that all the value threads have died out.

Ever since I traded the 992 GT3 for the Sport Classic I have felt a deep automotive emptiness and lacking without having an NA GT car to drive. The SC is an epic car but I also need screaming in my life, so back to 991.2 GT3 I go as I have great memories of my Grigio Telesto one I bought new back in the day.

I am going to be getting a Spyder RS in about a year but that too long of a wait without NA goodness, so I jumped on this PTS 2300 mile manual when my good friends at @Merit Partners made me an offer I couldn't refuse. Gonna take to too a couple rallies in the spring including Smokies GT and then track it a bit throughout the year.

Linden/Birch is a color I have always loved but never had the courage to spec myself ... so this car also scratches that itch.

Im going to peg the flappers open and get a muffler bypass ... if I remember correctly that's all it really needs to wake it up a little bit. I'm might also reach out to @P1Designs to see if I can get some inserts with green and grey stripes.

That's it for now.

I'd recommend passing on the Center and go with valved or unvaled side bypasses ...

I'm trying not to get too aggressive with the exhaust, and I have a friend who has this on his 991.1 and like how it sounds.

If for some reason I don't like it I can always revisit the setup later.

I had the GMG on my 997.1 it was "a bit loud" (for me) subsequently went with the Sharkwerks on the 997.2 and removed the heavy sides on the 991.2 with the Soul valved sides ...

Trying to decide if I want to get some seat inserts to tie into the painted vents or whether to swap the out for unpainted ones.

Does anyone know how difficult it is to do a vent swap?

Do they snap off or is it a whole dash removal ordeal?
