DSC on 991.2 GT3 RS - worth doing?
From what I understand the .2 RS has rose jointed suspension which is much stiffer than the .1, making it a bit harsher comparatively.
“Obsessed Garage” video guy Matt put the DSC in his .2 and it sounded like he barely noticed the difference. I read somewhere that the .2 RS suspension is less adjustable so the DSC program wouldn’t have the same benefit on the .2 RS as it would on other models.
Curious-
Anyone have experience in the .2 RS, with DSC - aka is it worth doing to make the car feel better on rough roads? Any negative feedback?

Added a DSC to mine ~3mo into ownership. It doesn't transform the car, but I noticed a small improvement to ride quality on the bumpier roads near me.
There's a noticeable difference between suspension modes now, where as without the DSC (on road) I'd barely notice a difference.
tldr; If I did it again I'd get another DSC

If you don't plan on tuning the DSC box then there is no point of adding it. However, if you tune it there are massive gains to be made to the car if done correctly

I have had the DSC on three GT cars and one TurboS. Have loved it on each. It simply smooths out the rough edges, and on my 991.2RS, it's noticeably better on rough roads and seams.

I've had it on 3 991 cars, none of them RS but same results as mentioned above. I noticed a difference instantly just by backing out of my driveway. No placebo or exaggeration.

I've got a DSC on my .2 RS and have noticed grip improvements on high and low speed turns on the track with higher G load. On the street gains are less noticeable for me. But I have not tuned the settings. Its what came loaded with the box.

I find the PASM on my .1 GT3 makes little difference between Sport on vs off compared to my past 997 GTS where the off setting was quite a bit more compliant on the highway. Is it safe to say that adding DSC (to either a GT3 or RS, and whether .1 or .2) mostly helps, once tuned, only to soften the ride for highway use but doesn’t add much noticeable damping control benefit for track use?

On my 718 GT4 I found it very noticeable on track, on my 991.2 GT3 I couldn't really tell. It's not making a big difference either way, certainly not in terms of performance. On the street I couldn't really tell much of a difference in either car.
On the whole I would not buy one again, but they come up in the used parts section here every day so you can pretty much buy one to try out for the cost of shipping. Don't like it just flip it.
