Why is it weird?

DCT MotorSports in NorCal, for example, does an amazing job re-wrapping steering wheels. I don't think they do 991's, but I don't see why they can't; it's all custom work, anyway.

They've done custom wheels for some of my 997's.

Do you mean in fabric or vinyl?
If you want a recover in leather etc... I have a guy in Camarillo.

This is getting too weird. Why not just park the car inside your house, never drive it and just admire it? Sorry, but this entire wrapping of the car has gotten too weird for me as well

HA True and while your at it, cover the mats that cover the carpeting so that doesn't get dirty

I am not looking to wrap anything to protect it. I want custom alcantara and colored 12 O'clock marker in a different color.

Sorry, can't help with that. Kind of figured that's what you wanted. Should have posted these wrapping rants elsewhere! A bit too obsessive for me

Remember the 70's trend of clear vinyl couch covers! I have a 2006 black Porsche Cayman S with just a front bumper and fender wrap. I never took it to a car wash and polished it every few years with an electric polisher and the paint looks spectacular after 8 years. I'll stick with the same game plan.

I'm thinking wrapping this car in bubble wrap is the Only safe way to enjoy this machine.

But before you do this, take a small bit of red electrical tape and wrap it around the top of your steering wheel while your wheels are facing straight ahead.. Should do the trick
