I've seen cheaper shops in the Bay Area that will wrap the entire car for $2-3K but that's not Xpel and that's using pre-cut material which never wraps around the edges. And from direct experience, these wraps peel and get dirt under the edges.

The top wrappers using Xpel, who remove lights/trim/etc, wrap over the edges, with no blade marks and guarantee their work, wrapping the entire car, seem to be charging in that $5K ballpark. At least that's what I have seen anyway.

GLWS. What road did you take the picture on in Mass? Looks like it may be a good driving road.

Thanks Dan. It was actually at the parking lot of the Milbury shops. Unfortunately not a "road".

Wrap, tint, and Cquartz for $8000 is nuts but I have seen worse.

I can see a full wrap in the $3500-$4000 range. I had prep(which took 6 hours), Cquatrz on whole car and Opt-coat on rims which was $800 and they were great. Highly recommended in Chicago area. Tint was like $700 for the new Crystalline stuff.

Reality was different. I found myself missing the MT and creature comforts of the 4S. Life is short and I've decided to go a different direction. The GT3 is as special as everyone as said and I'll likely come back to it in the future but for now I'm moving on.
Sorry to see it go, but I understand everyone has different preferences. I also have about 900 miles on mine, and want to take it to the track once it's broken in.

The wrap always gets lots of opinions. I wasn't so focused in the details of the wrap job when I posted my car for sale. Included in the job was a new rear badge as well as a new Satelite radio antenna from Germany custom painted to match my car so there would not be a wrap seam seen anywhere. Turns out the radio antennas have a one time use glue on it which could leak if reused. They had my car for over a week. This is my fourth car with wraps. The first two were using 3M products, total crap. I'm comfortable with the job that was done and I think I got a very good deal for the quality of the job. Like everything else, there are cheaper options but that's not what I was looking for with my GT3. I invite you to look at my car and decide for yourself if it's worth it.

Thanks Henry, I'm sure I'll be back. It's an amazing car. It just doesn't fit my needs currently and life is too short to compromise. Best of luck with your ARM.

I think $5K is fair for a wrap like that. It's not like the car is a `79 Aspen! All those compound curves makes hanging wallpaper look like it's child's play.
Besides how many Arena Red GT3's did Porsche paint 20 total according to Eduardo? Although one may be able to get the same wrap for cheaper in a saturated market like Southern California.

The car in that color looks beautiful, now all you need are the MHT T10 rims to look the part. Those wheels although finished in matte black are the closest rims to the 993 Turbo wheels - that's if you wanted something like that. I feel that the current GT3 wheels are of the best design since the 3 came out.

With just 800 miles and the "Upgrades" what the OP is asking is fair to good market value. Especially in that color!

Default 2015 PTS Arena Red for sale

I didn't mean to distract from the sale, was just surprised how much wrap work costs. GLWS

Thanks. I believe it was actually 10 of each color. There may have been a couple of extra green cars. To my knowledge there are only ten of the ARMs. It's a unique car for sure.

According to Eduardo, you are misquoting him.

Pretty car but between tax and extras be prepared to take $35,000 bath.

PDK is boring. I understand missing your manual 991. If your not a track junkie theres no need for PDK. Its a shame Porsche didn't give everyone a manual option. I think the only reason they went PDK only is to post the best press numbers. After driving the gearbox in my GT4 there's no way Id trade for a pdk only gt3. Good luck with sale. Sorry for the PDK rant but I certainly understand not liking it.
