Had an awesome day hanging out in Swedish Camp at Spa Francorchamps! Thanks to the friendly Swedes for loaning me a helmet so I could ride with DrJupeman! There were a few red GT3s at the track today...

Nice to meet you, too, Grant! I'll post some video of me following you in "school" as soon as I'm able. Your new car is terrific!

Great video of SPA….and very good driving with excellent lines. The Franco Fun Days are usually exactly that…Fun….and well organised. Hope you enjoyed.

thanks for posting the videos, i particularly enjoyed the Spa video - as an F1 fan it was great to see you flying around one of the world's great tracks in a GT3. Of course it would have been faster had it been blue!

interesting how you shift up with paddles, and down with shifter, so only use one hand for shifting.
suppose you can't get it wrong that way....?

I think I saw a post in another thread that the downshift paddle is not working so he has to do that.

This. The left paddle for downshifting stopped working around 2000 km (car now has >4000km). So I upshift with right paddle, downshift with the console. It is frustrating that the brand new car doesn't work in such a basic way.

ok - thanks for the explanation.
yeah that is unfortunate as it is quite an important basic function of the car. no excuse for it not to work, or do we now just rely too much on electronics?

I keep thinking "it is a simple switch!" and then "they have had paddle shifters for years!".

Seriously, I see no excuse with why the paddle shifters don't work perfectly for the life of the car. It has been a bit of a bummer, it was great fun going up and down gears with both paddles while they worked.
