And it will tell us a lot about the future gen 991gt3/RS.

I like big wings and not so good interiors. 😉😉
So you were offered an allocation in the US?

The rumored permanent addition of it makes more sense to me than adding back a manual to the GT2/3 and RS. Follow the RS each year with a limited edition manual only R using the RS power unit. Helps amortize the RS development cost without pushing more cars out. They will sell as many GT2s/3's in PDK only as they can make again...

The base price of the GT3 is 130k. I seriously doubt that Porsche would price this car at 270k. They are not going to make it more expensive than their "flagship" car - the 911 Turbo S.

NOWHERE has $270K been mentioned except ONE post by an uniformed person. Why is this still being discussed ???

If I got an allocation I'd prob take it. Considering the rarity. That's prob the only reason. Leaves me wanting more radical things. Too toned down in the looks dept. jmo

Uninformed !!!

We will see. More than an RS?? Unlikely in my opinion. Just an educated guess on my part. This article quotes over $160K. These guys usually are pretty accurate.

If this 911R is to be a special edition car, I really have to now think, what would make it more special than not would be it to be the last NA, MT 911 period. That in itself will command the outrageous price point. Just think, limited edition, last NA and last MT 911.

The ultimate 911 sleeper. I'm #2 on my dealers list. Probably means I won't get one.
