Default The Only Prescription Is More Porsche 911 R

Because we just can't get enough of the 911 R, here's even more footage, with great scenery, tasty audio, and no blabbering to distract you from the beauty.

A GT3 without a wing!! Just doesn't do it for me. Looks like a kit car.

Seriously, why the fock are we getting all these reviews and articles on this car? It's not like it's available to the general public. I don't even want this car but these articles are getting annoying and insulting. Wake me up when the 991.2 GT3 is here with the manual gearbox.

What a freekin attitude you have! Far to soft and mushey. Let us know how you really feel. Like salt into your wounds? But guessing you know how I feel My reality has changed slightly. Really wanting an RS and as 1st for the 911R, hoped to trade for an RS. That rug was pulled out. Last weekend I drove the snot out of my GT4 for the first time, and on race rubber. SEX!!!! $ for a GT3RS=2 GT4s.

Why don't you just skip this thread and move on to another. Ignore any of these 911R threads , so that you don't have to whine about how much you don't like the car. Quite frankly, I really don't care what is annoying or insulting to you. I would like to see reviews on the car. If I don't like the car, I don't waste my time.

I'm not whining, just stating my opinion. One thing I'm happy about is that this car will be a beta for a manual going into a 991.2 GT3.

It has grown on me also but I am "wing" guy and happy that the manual will trickle to the next GT3.

I am an honest man - if I could get this car at MSRP - I would in a heart beat only if it could be black with green stripes.

I hear you about the wing thing. They are just awesome and the GT3's is perfect. But for a slightly less "loud" car, this one is impressive. Not sure about your color choice Jimmy (haha), but white with black rims works for me!

I had enough of this car the second I found out Porsche was only making 991 of them, and they were sold before I even knew they existed. 991 rich people getting richer, and Porsche seems eager to make sure they get top dollar when they flip them to collectors who will stick them in their warehouses and wait to sell them again in the future--to someone else who won't drive them.

For the purist what? Driver? Laughable. The purist collector.

Trying to make me want one when I can't have one is simply rude. And, it's not that I can't afford it. It's that I'm not one of the chosen few. I haven't stuffed enough money up someone's a$$ to make it into that club.

Look at this incredible car that represents pure Porsche genius, for those who just plain love to drive. No, you can't have one. Yes, we know most of them will never be driven.

These things exist for marketing purposes only. I'd rather watch a cave man parallel parking a golf cart. Equally as real for all intents and purposes in my "un-chosen" world.
