Congrats on the allocation! I too am struggling with color choice. I've seen UV and LO in person, look great but not for me. I'm leaning 90% white, but my wife likes GT so will see. I'll be glad when the lock date arrives so I can be done with it! Best of luck with choice.

white and silver less desirable ?? lava was the launch color....I personally hate it....I just bought a gt silver, I owned a 997 turbo in that color and love it....u/v is awesome , its just a non metallic color and shows every fine line scratch .....white....well, everything I have is white....lol....but i'm adding some color to my life.
Yes. silver looks terrible.
I coulda written that better... It seems, anyways, that less people have ordered silver than either lava or purple. I agree that silver is by far the most timeless of all the colors. And will look great years down the road. I may be tired of looking at my orange car by then. Enjoy the car!!!

Didn't people used to prefer car color by their personal taste rather than by what will have greater resale $$?
If that worried about $$$, don't buy a car. A $200K investment in real estate or something wise will give greater returns. In 10 yrs, that $200K could be worth $1,000,000 if used as a down payment to finance a real estate deal.
The RS won't do as well .... With inflation, you'll be lucky to even get close to 2016 dollars for it.

lava... launch color expected and by this time very common....
purple...bold and beautiful but it could get old really fast
white...great for track cars, looks good with stickers
silver....timeless, elegant and with the right touches sporty
just my 2 cts...

The new rennlist has seriously ruined people's ability to enjoy the car as a car. I've never seen a forum where the main concern was depreciation.

+1 well said!

I generated considerable IRRs on my older Porsches, but I drove and enjoyed them, just as I do with my current car.
I may deviate from the marque for my next purchase, as I'm tired of the dealer games, the endless discussion of people "on the list," etc. I'm probably not going to jump through hoops and supplicate to some dealer just to pay a premium for a 991.2 GT3, when I could stroll down to the McLaren dealer and get a gently used 570 for similar money.

Too bad about the PTS, I'm a riviera junky, just can't pay the 100k over lol
So I'm thinking:
UV
Black wheels
PCCB
Yellow seat belts
Full leather w/ deviated yellow stitching
Would you all recommend anything else on this build?

On new UV orders does anyone know if the wing risers are black when ordering black wheels. On earlier orders this required a CXX option.
