Finally got an RS allocation!! Need advice possible PTS?
I finally got an allocation. The dealer says no PTS, but may be a chance. Does anyone have any information if that may be a possibility? Any information at all would be great. And if not what stock color will hold its value the best? Thanks everyone really looking forward to this RS.

Congrats!!!
Absolutely positively no PTS. Straight from the horses mouth at PCNA to me very recently.
If holding value is what you want purple seems to be the odds on favorite. Followed by orange. White and silver are less desirable.
But I say get what your heart tells you to and to hell with resale values!

lava was the launch color....I personally hate it....I just bought a gt silver, I owned a 997 turbo in that color and love it....u/v is awesome , its just a non metallic color and shows every fine line scratch .....white....well, everything I have is white....lol....but i'm adding some color to my life.

PTS is a def NO!
IMO, you really can't go wrong with any of the standard colors and they all look great. As far as what's going to hold its value my opinion:
- UV
- Lava
- White
- GT Silver
My teeny bit of advice is to get a color you like and one that makes you happy. That's more important than the marginal gains you may make with one color or another.
Good luck and congratulations.

Just remember what might be fun today, you may not care for in 5, 10, 25 years from now. If it's a "forever" car, get what YOU like. White ALWAYS will hold it's value, so will Silver. They probably wont be as volatile as UV and LO, lower ceiling in resale, but also might not be as low of a floor if in 20 years people are saying, what the hell were they thinking back in the 2010's! Afterall, there's a reason Porsche didn't offer Aubergine in the 80-2000's. I guarantee you, if they sold a lot of them in the 70's, they'd have offered it in the 80's. So, get what you like and if resale is a big concern, remember this...It's an RS, you'll never have trouble selling it no matter what color it is but if you wanna play it safe, white and silver are always gonna be able to sell.

It's not. It was going to be my choice and is a stunner for sure. I switched to lava only because I saw sgroers car as well as always having had silver P cars it was time for a change.
ALL the available colors look good on this car.
Btw, I think there's a lot of hype over PTS. IMO, it's there more for "exclusivity" than for the color being aesthetically pleasing. Some of the PTS colors I've seen have been positively yuk!
