Default Should I trade in my .1GT3 for a .2GTS?

Hi,

I've had my 2015 Signal Green GT3 for almost two years. I don't drive it often and only put ~3000mi on the clock. I dd my Macan S which is fun but not as fun as a 911. So when the .2gts was released, I was thinking if I should replace my GT3 with a newer GTS.

Pros:
1. I can daily drive GTS and have fun every day not just weekends. The GT3 is a little bit too extreme and the color is not good for daily driving.
2. GTS has rear seats, so I can take my dog on road trips. Road trip with Macan is boring.
3. I never tracked my GT3. I test drove a manual 991.2s yesterday, I feel like it is a better car for me, if I only drive it on road.

Cons:
1. The depreciation on GTS. GT3 holds its value much better than GTS.
2. 9K rpm NA engine is epic. The GTS, ...well, it is turbo charged.
3. I really love the color. I smile every time when I see my car, in garage.

Not list all pros and cons. Guys, what do you think. I need you help.

Think twice before you sell a unicorn car for a run of the mill GTS that can be had at anytime. My two cents you have a special car that I would only sell for a special car. I loved my .1 GT3, but only sold for an RS. Good luck on your choice, but I say don't do it! If you can have another DD keep it.

Yes, but will it hold its value when .2GT3 with manual come out?

The mere fact that you are asking in the GT3 forum says your inner being knows the answer is HELL NO. Don't do this, please don't do this.

You will miss your GT3 15 seconds after walking away from it. Maybe sooner.

Keep what you have. The 991.2 GTS promises to be a great car, but will not feel any more special than the Macan if you drive it every day...

You only get value in GT cars .......why would anyone pay a premium on a car that sits on dealer lots (GTS).....your call my three cents. GTS is a GTS vs. GT3 hands down looks like the board has spoken. However, you're trying to convince yourself it's a good deal .......only you know the answer

Definitely not. Keep your gt3. Drive it more- it's fine for daily driving. Much more of an event driving the gt3 vs GTS. The gt3 is comparable to a 458/488, mac 570, r8, etc. GTS is not

Put a pillow in the back for your dog and drive the GT3!

I wouldn't DD it to be honest. I would never want a ride in my GT3 to be anything but special. Maybe meet some more people you can take the car out with and enjoy.

I just got back from a 4 hour trip in mine. Incredible roads, 55-60 degrees and sunny, with lots of elevation changes, tight 180 degree turns, chicanes, tons of twisties, good straights, amazing scenery, wildlife i scared the **** out of, and no traffic.

991 GT3. Best. Car. Ever.

Only sell if you need the money to grow your business, or move your family to a nicer neighbourhood. If you don't need the money, keep the GT3. Having a wild colour is not a big deal. Daily drive it anyway, it's a supple suspension.
